Mastering projects

Here are some guidelines that makes your music come out the very best.

1. Make sure that you have high quality files. MP3s are already very compressed files that they end up having artifacts that don't sound great after the mastering process. We prefer 24 bit, 48k sample rate files at the very least. If you recorded at a higher sample rate please keep them at the original format.

2. Leave some headroom for us to work with. If your hitting around 0 dbfs, then it doesn't allow us to enhance your final mix. A couple ways you can do this is to remove and Limiter from your stereo bus. It is okay to keep a compressor if it is helping glue things together, but we can also do that during our process. If you communicate how you want your dynamic range to be we will accommodate your request.

3. Give us some more information, If you give us the order of songs and the album information we can embed them into the audio files.
